What if you could finally feel in control of your money each month?
And plan for your future house, family, and retirement while still enjoying all the fun stuff today?
Right now, managing your money mainly involves:

You’re ready to get out of this cycle, but amongst all the confusing jargon, intimidating finance ‘experts’, and overwhelming investment options…staying where you are seems like the easiest option.
Except that staying where you’re at might mean……
$ Always wondering why your friends can afford to go on 3 vacations a year (with brand new Ray Ban’s), while you can barely afford a trip to the beach
$ Hiding your Zara bag, or racing to intercept the Amazon delivery, or quickly shutting your banking app when your partner walks in…. Forever!
$ Feeling disempowered by money and unable to make long-term plans for a house, baby, retirement, summer in Bali, or any of your #lifegoals
Financial planning doesn’t have to be confusing. In fact, it shouldn’t be.
My unique method of 1:1 financial planning will help you understand and feel in control of what you’re earning, spending and saving. I believe that your money (spending and saving) should reflect your goals, dreams, and values. You shouldn’t have to choose each month between paying your bills or saving for a trip. You can spend intentionally, without sacrificing a trip to Nordstroms, Friday night takeout, or a friend’s birthday meal (with the dreaded split bill).
And I can show you how.
My financial planning is right for you if…
- You want to spend, save and invest with a budget that fits your life and doesn’t mean you have to cut out all the fun stuff
- You’re making a life change, such as a new job, house, kids, marriage or divorce and need to figure out what the new normal will look like
- You want to do this with an authentic person who doesn’t speak finance jargon to confuse you, or ask you to decipher complicated contracts
- You’re ready to stop relying on your parents, husband, or friends for financial advice and feel confident that you have enough knowledge to take action
- You avoided thinking about saving in your 20’s….but things are different now. You’ve got goals, it’s time to get serious about reaching them
“Working with Katie on my financials was incredible. It gave me so much clarity and I never once felt judged. I loved being able to get a look into the future and set some financial goals. I didn’t leave feeling overwhelmed. I left feeling safe and supported with a lot to look forward to.
Thank you Katie!”

Ready for your money to start working for YOU and not the other way around?
Welcome to 1:1 financial planning with Katie. In our sessions you’ll learn to start viewing money as a tool. A tool you earn, spend and save.
–
You’ll gain clarity, understanding, and peace of mind about your financial position including day to day spending, savings goals, retirement investing, and paying off those credit cards.
–
But most importantly we’ll put together a plan with the flexibility to meet you where you are at right now and support you to get exactly where you want to go.

How it all works (without using any fancy financial jargon)
We look at 2 big things to figure out your tailored financial plan

Cash in and out to provide clarity.
There’s zero judgment here. We look at exactly where you are at TODAY and build up from there

Assets and debts to form a plan.
We’ll give your money a ‘job’. Either decrease debt or go towards investments
After that, you get your personalized financial plan.
You won’t have 5 different confusing options, instead, you get one, tailored, proactive plan that is the BEST path for YOU. Simple.
You’ll know exactly where your money is going each month, with a plan of how to monitor spending and send excess money towards savings goals.

Want to delve a bit deeper?
Your 1:1 initial financial plan includes 3 x 1 hour online meetings covering:
- Defining your goals, dreams, and values
- Monthly cash flow (in’s, out’s, assets, and debts)
- Trade-off tools (so you can tell your dad it’s possible to enjoy a manicure, while still saving for your retirement)
- Your personal retirement and savings plan
- Recommendations for financial products and funds based on your best interest (no commissions, fees, or incentives paid to us)
- Help automating your finances as much as possible
- Access to a financial planner (me!) who ‘gets’ you for future check-ins, questions and help navigating life’s changes
- 3 meetings are usually enough to develop an initial plan, but everyone’s finances are different.
The investment is $280 per hour for your initial plan.
So for all 3 x 1-hour sessions is $840
(Future check in appointments are at $240 per hour rate)
This is all about putting more money in YOUR pocket so…
You pay for each session as you go and can choose the time between sessions
(which means you won’t pay anything now to book your first session)
There is no charge for quick questions answered via email in between online sessions
(which means you’ll never feel alone and unsupported)
I don’t take any management or commission fees if you use suggested products
(which means you can trust that I have your best interests at heart)
You pay for the time we spend meeting together, nothing more
(which means you will never receive an unexpected bill)
If you’ve tried it *this* way, and *that* way… it’s time to try another way. A way that puts you in control of your financial future and gives you the confidence to take action.
(Remember you won’t pay anything right now)
Yeah, it all sounds great, but…
What if I end up on such a tight budget that I can’t spend my money on anything fun or important to me?
A huge part of the process is working out what’s a non-negotiable and making space for that. Your double matcha latte DOES NOT have to go.
Aren’t financial planners for people like Jeff Bezos or Kylie Jenner…. not people like me?
I believe that everyone should have access to a financial planner. Money plays a huge part in our lives, we should know how to use it to our advantage
I’ve come across financial ‘experts’ before, they’re just out to earn commission on the products they recommend, right?
There are some good guys and gals out there, I don’t take any commission from the funds and products I recommend from you or them. And I never will.
Why should I spend my time planning my finances when I could be planning next year’s vacation instead?
True. But if you spend some time planning THIS year, you might be able to sneak 2 vacations in next year, and 3 the year after…you get the picture
Isn’t the world supposed to implode in 10 years, there won’t even be a retirement so why should I save?
Ok, but what if it doesn’t? Wouldn’t it be good to have a low-level safety net? But, if your priority isn’t long term, we can focus on a plan for right now
My parents had a house at my age and here I am living paycheck to paycheck, how can I save?
Your parents lived in a different time, there’s no point comparing your lifestyle to theirs. But if a house is your goal, we’ll work out a path to get you there
I have enough money to cover my bills each month – that’s all I need from my finances
If your long-term goals are just to cover your bills every month, then this may not be right for you. But what happens if your expenses ever increase….? (Inflation?)
Ready to take the first step towards reaching all your financial goals and dreams?
(Remember, you will pay after the session)

How do you know I’m the real deal?
Hi, I’m Katie, and I get it – numbers are hard. It’s not like we’re taught how to budget or invest in school. So we earn a paycheck and spend it all at the weekend, with saving for a retirement the LAST thing on our mind.
But we can’t live like this forever, time to think ahead…except it’s All. So. Confusing.
What little financial advice we get is either from our parents, who “had a house at your age”, a partner who doesn’t get why you need a Target budget, or your friends who can afford to split the bill without a second thought.
Even if you had any extra income, you wouldn’t know how to confidently build wealth.
The good news is, you don’t have to figure this out on your own. I have been where you are at. I didn’t know what I was doing with my money and was overwhelmed by the choices. But I had some guidance from my dad and I followed some simple daily principles.
Eventually, I started to see the difference between my finances and my friends who weren’t making financially savvy daily choices. The gap continues to get bigger.
Now I have over a decade of experience helping simplify the world of taxes and the IRS as an Enrolled Agent and recently as a financial planning associate with Fearless Finance.
Trust me, if I can simplify taxes, I can simplify your financial planning!
I can help you wade through the noise of financial experts to determine what works best for you and aligns with your values. I want to help you make little choices every day, like I did, that’ll have a BIG impact on the rest of your life.
I believe money is a tool and shouldn’t be a source of guilt. My passion is seeing women (and men) blossom and understand their own financial situation, without feeling intimidated, shameful or simply ignoring it.
Being ‘good with money’ doesn’t hinge on your family background, how ‘smart’ you are, or how much debt you’re in right now. Financial planning is not just for the super-rich, or even only for those in mega-debt.
I can support you to find your path to wealth, without judgment. Without mansplaining. Without financial jargon BS, if you’re ready?
Imagine how good it’ll feel when…
You finally have some stability in your future – covering your monthly expenses, money in the bank the day BEFORE payday, and decreasing your debt daily. But the BIGGEST change? You’re no longer intimidated by financial planning.
You’re empowered. You’re confident. You got this.
“I liked working with Katie because she is similar to my age, so she knows the struggles. Katie is somehow able to understand what I’m saying, condense it, and translate it back in a way I can understand”
