Podcasts can be a great way to learn new information about interesting topics. Anything from “who done it”, to advancing your career, to learning about the latest scientific discovery is included on a podcast. Some consider personal finance to be a boring topic, but I bet you can find some entertaining options in my list of 12 best podcasts for women in their 20’s- Personal Finance Edition!
One thing I have noticed is that the personality and interaction of the hosts is one of the most important parts of making a podcast I enjoy. There are a few podcasts that could talk about any boring topic, but the hosts are so engaging and interesting I would still enjoy listening.

Everyone is in a little different place with their personal finance journey and has different preferences for their podcasts. With this list of the 12 best podcasts for women in their 20’s-Personal Finance Edition, you can find something on this list that will resonate with you!
Millennial Investing
If you are a millennial and looking to learn more about investing, this is the podcast for you! Robert Leonard uses interviews with finance experts to create literacy in the ever-changing world of finance for millennials.
This is one podcast that talks a lot about investing in the stock market, properties, and other businesses in an easy-to-understand way.

Afford Anything – Making smart choices about money
Paula Pant writes one of my favorite blogs with the same title. She started with the idea that you can afford anything in your life, but can’t afford everything. You need to pick and choose what matters to you in your life and base your spending priorities on this.
In her podcast, she interviews experts from many areas and backgrounds to provide information to help people live financially independent lives. She shares real examples about making money mistakes, retirement, saving, and debt payoffs.

Brown Ambition
This fun and practical podcast feels like a conversation with a few girlfriends. They give practical advice in an approachable and easy to listen to way. The episodes dive deep into topics on money, finance, and career advice and they use the opportunity to answer questions from listeners at the end of each episode.

ChooseFI
Choose FI is a great personal finance blog that has turned into a podcast hosted by Johnathan & Brad. Even if you are not looking to become financially independent, their podcast episodes cover a wide range of relevant topics relating to finances and economics.
Their approach is from a place that anyone can learn and do these things and you end an episode feeling encouraged rather than overwhelmed.

Journey to Launch
I love hearing stories from real people. That is the focus of this podcast. Host Jamila Souffrant collects inspirational stories from real people who have built wealth, paid off debt, or achieved something monumental with money.
The topics are applicable to millennials and Gen Z and are all practical and applicable to listeners without complicated financial jargon.

How To Money
“Rich living on less money” Hosts Joel and Matt believe strongly in this statement. They focus on everything from managing your finances, prioritizing the things that matter the most, and reducing your expenses.
When you use the money you have in a purposeful, thoughtful way, that fits your lifestyle, then you start living a wealthy life.

The Fairer Cents
The Fairer Cents is recommended for women who want to learn how to manage their finances well, they don’t just talk about the facts and how to’s. They also look at why money is such a complicated topic for women and discuss the cultural factors that affect women’s struggle against economic inequality.
I have been reading the blog of host Tanja Hester, Our Next Life, for many years and enjoy her perspective on cultural issues and how they affect finances.

HerMoney Podcast
This podcast is for the ladies! Jean Chatzky focuses on topics to help women understand how to spend, save, and invest money.
Jean is incredibly relatable and has a deep knowledge of personal finance topics that makes this a great choice for anyone starting out with personal finance.

Investing for short-term and long-term goals
Couple Money
This podcast helps spouses manage their joint finances, pay debts faster and improve marriage by building wealth together
I love this topic because so many women in couples are overwhelmed by managing money and just turn it over to their husbands. I believe women should be involved and understand what is going on with the family finances even if they are not the main person managing it.

The art of being frugal: How to live well while spending less
How to tackle your student loans in 2021

The College Investor
Host Robert Farrington answers all your questions related to millennial money, so this is a focused podcast for millennial women. His topics and simple delivery make it an excellent choice for students and recent graduates.
The episodes are posted daily and are pretty short so the information is not overwhelming and easy to take action steps on.
