One of my most recent posts was a smash hit on social media! It seems that everyone is thinking about an Air Fryer for Christmas this year! The more I hear about how people use them, the more I have to say I agree! Especially for people who live alone, these are a great quick way to cook without heating up a giant oven, dragging out pots and pans, or suffering through sad microwaved cooked food again! Plus, meals cooked in an air fryer are much healthier than fast food and cheaper than takeout at many restaurants. What is not to love! Let this be our little secret….. I am doing an air fryer series in the new year! Simple, healthy, tasty complete meals that can be cooked using only an air fryer and microwave!

Just like cooking for a crowd can take some learning, cooking for one person can take some time to get the hang of. Trying to buy appropriate amounts of food, keep yourself from wasting things, without eating the same thing 8 days in a row can get tiring quickly! As someone who has been cooking for herself, and herself alone for the past 13 years, I have a ton of tips and tricks that you can use to make this process a little simpler!
This is a perfect cozy winter breakfast for you to try over the Christmas Holiday! These muffins are soft, fluffy, and gently spiced with warm apple spices! Plus, add in a few mixins from the suggestions and they can be protein and whole grain-packed power muffins! How versatile and delicious is that! Try them out and share with a friend or two!

Food waste is a huge problem for individuals today. Food waste contributes in a small way to increased climate change from the wasted resources used to produce and transport food. It also contributes to financial waste as the money you used to buy the food essentially is wasted. Tighten up your food purchasing, make sure you use all the food you buy with creative recipes like these, and then relax knowing you are saving money and the planet! How great is that!
I cheated a little with this because this Go-To meal idea covers about 6 posts from this year! But it is one of my favorites and such a great way to ensure you are able to eat a filling, healthy, and quick dinner after a tough day at work without resorting to takeout all of the time! Specifically, the two most popular Go-to Meal recipes were Chicken Tortilla Soup and Sweet Chili Salmon! Both are great meals to have on hand when you return from your holiday travels as they are made primarily with shelf-stable or frozen ingredients!

That’s it! From the first 6 months of Kaybee Lives, we have these great top 5 Foodie Friday posts to revisit! I am so excited about some of the content I have planned for 2022, and I can’t wait to share it with you in the New Year! Sneak peek….. Think Air Fryer!!!
