Fish for dinner still feels like a “fancy” dinner that should take a long time to make. But, in reality, fish is so fast to cook which makes it the perfect weeknight dinner option! I love using frozen fish fillets for just this reason! Starting this dinner with some Lemon Pepper seasoned Pollock Fillets gives you even more choices in the fish you serve, and these are definitely a step up from a fish stick from your childhood! Let’s look at how this healthy, delicious air fryer frozen fish fillet dinner for two comes together!
I decided this should be a healthier meal choice and paired the fish fillets with some whole-grain quinoa and brown rice mix and air-fried broccoli. You are getting a nutrient-dense meal that you can feel good about eating in just 15 minutes. Start this recipe by gathering your ingredients, any frozen white fish fillet will work for this, pollock, cod, sole, or whatever your store is selling today! This one was prebreaded and preseasoned, but you could also buy a plain fillet. The plain salmon fillet we cooked earlier cooked up great in the air fryer!

Frozen Air Fryer Fish Fillet Dinner for Two
Equipment
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Microwave
Ingredients
- 2 filets Frozen fish fillets
- 1 package Ready to eat microwave quinoa and brown rice
- 2 cups Fresh chopped broccoli
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Garlic and herb seasoning like Ms. Dash
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees. While it is preheating, remove fish from the packaging and add any seasoning to it (unless it is pre-seasoned).
- Once the air fryer is preheated, lay the fish filets in the basket, allowing room for the air to circulate and to add broccoli later. Set the timer for 7 minutes.
- While the fish is cooking, chop your broccoli into bite-sized pieces and toss with olive oil and seasoning.
- When 7 minutes have elapsed, open the air fryer and gently flip fish filets over. Add the broccoli and let cook for 8 minutes.
- When 2 minutes are remaining on the timer, cook the rice according to the package directions in the microwave.
- When all of the components are fully cooked, plate with 1 fish filet, 1/2 of the rice, and 1/2 of the broccoli for each serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- Each serving consists of 1 fish fillet, 1/2 of the brown rice and quinoa mix, and 1 cup of cooked broccoli. Calories for this meal are 690 per serving and the cost is $4.90 per serving.
- Adjust this for your taste and flavors by changing up the side dishes and veggies. This would be delicious with cheesy pasta or some fresh roasted brussels sprouts!
- You can use any breaded white fish fillets that your store has in stock. This would be delicious with cod, tilapia, or any other type.
How simple is that! Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and some tarter sauce to round out your meal! Plus, there are a ton of different flavors, types of fish, and seasonings you can rotate through to keep this meal feeling fresh and exciting!
